McCormick Student Village (MSV) is referred to as “communal-style living”.

Jeanne and John Rowe Village, designed by acclaimed international architect Helmut Jahn, consists of three five-story buildings that face the primary thoroughfare running through Mies Campus. One of its most distinctive features is that the Green Line elevated (“L”) train runs behind, which gives it a distinctly Chicago vibe

• Suite-style means that two students share a room, and they share a bathroom with two other students
• A laundry room and small kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and microwave can be found on the second, third, and fourth floors
• Two fifth-floor outdoor terraces offer panoramic views of downtown Chicago

Gunsaulus Hall offers third-year and fourth-year students the benefits of apartment-style living right onCampus housing is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. It is recommended that graduate students submit contracts for housing as early as possible. campus in a 10-story building on South Michigan Avenue.

Modeled after the design of the newly renovated George J. Kacek Hall, Cunningham Hall features residential floors in a pod-style configuration, with student rooms pinwheeling around central study and social lounge areas. The building is bathed in natural light, with beautiful views of the campus and downtown Chicago.

Kacek Hall is a legacy Ludwig Mies van der Rohe building that was revitalized by alumnus and College of Architecture Professor Dirk Denison. It imbues classic modernism with a vibrant, new living experience for first- and second-year students.
